02 / ABOUT

No elevator pitch. Just how I build.

I don't have a corporate mission statement. I'm a CS student who spends way too much time in front of the terminal and IDEs, figuring out how things actually work and what could make them better one way or another.

Here's what I personally believe: For the most part, there's no need for new innovations. We already have everything we need for whatever we need. After establishing that idea in mind, it almost always comes down to two things: utilizing what we got in the right way, and getting rid of what doesn't add value.

I build tools because I want them to exist for myself first. Tools that bring everything into one place, providing all that I need for a specific part of my life without the need for me to jump around other apps and multiple tutorials for each just to get what I want. Automations that throw away my need to open this app to write notes or to-do lists, then open that app to learn how to do it, then open the one over there to see how much time I've got, then go and watch a tutorial to choose the right tool to get that task done... and the cycle repeats again and again until you find yourself spending more time learning about how to do the task or what tool to use rather than actually doing it. That's what I currently work to fix.

// 01 · THE STANCE

Local by Default

If it runs on my machine, it should work in airplane mode in the middle of nowhere. No telemetry, no forced accounts, and no rented access to my own files. Connecting to the cloud is a choice, not a necessity.

// 02 · THE CRAFT

Low Overhead

Modern computers are fast enough to handle almost any day-to-day workflow. If an app feels sluggish, it's usually lazy bloat. I prefer taking the time and putting in the effort to provide a tool that simply "feels" right.

// 03 · THE MINDSET

Learning Cycle

I believe learning is a lifelong process. Curiosity, effort, and patience are the skills that bring real growth in life. The ability to accept failure and view time spent on unpublished work as valuable experience is what keeps me in love with what I do.
